Baby steps, my friend

So i guess i'm writing blogs now. I was first introduced to blogging back when i was in primary school. Kinda makes me feel like it's just more homework after school. But when facebook was introduced, that's when i started writing blogs (but not exactly).

So yeah, baby steps. This post is actually just to let you know my process of why i started this website. There's a lot of reasons when it comes to creating this website. Like for portfolios, to look professional as a business, to impress people (not really). But I think the only reason that stands out is curiosity. I always wanted to have a website of my own. It just feels like you have a little tiny space in this world wide web (don't know if people still say that). In other words, it's like you have a place in this digital world. Which is amazing. But other than that, it's to have a somewhat better looking platform to show to my potential clients my work, what i've been working on, my pricing and all that stuff. Just a go to website or platform for everything. Instead of showing them one by one, changing through apps like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram. I can just go to one website.

But other than the business side of things, it's this section, the blog section. If i'm being honest, me typing right now, it just feels sooo good. I don't have any expectations of anyone reading or liking this. It's just plain old typing and posting. Just reminds you of the good ol days of writing stuff in your diary.

Yeah, so i'm planning to make this website more fun as we go. But as for now, i'm still learning on how to do this. I've never created a website before in my life, so i guess 2020 is the year!! And using Wix as the website to create my website (wow the irony) has been a breeze. The interface is so easy. I don't need to learn coding. And as for now, it's FREE!! But I will definitely get my domain and pay for the premium in the future. But yeah, it's so dope that Wix offers people to create their own website for free!! And i can say there can be a lot of people that can get away with it by just using the free version. This is really great for people like me, who's afraid of spending money on websites where you have zero experience in this field. At least this gives you the glimpse of how to actually create a website. So that when you're ready, you can spend some money, and make it look much better.

So to end this post, I would say Wix helps me a lot when it comes to creating this website, it gives me the confidence. And it's just so easy. I've finished my first page in like less than an hour!! That's so cool!! But yeah, i'm still doing some baby steps. Today i set up the website, in the next few days, i'm gonna polish it, maybe get someone to review it, then it's time to promote it. And i seriously can't wait to see what this website can do for my business. I'll be sure to update more as we go along in this journey. Alright that's it, now it's 2AM, probably should be in bed but yeah, when you have the creative juice in your head, you just got to let it out you know!! Alright see ya!!
